Frequently Asked Questions

What is CBD oil?

CBD oil or cannabidiol oil is a substance derived from the hemp plant. Most CBD oil comes from industrial hemp rather than psychoactive marijuana strains. While the two plants are related, industrial hemp does not contain nearly as much psychoactive tetrahydrocannabinol, another cannabinoid better known as THC. Tetrahydrocannabinol is a major active ingredient in marijuana. EU approved hemp strains must contain no more than 0.2% THC on a dry weight basis – a nearly negligible amount.

How does CBD work?

CBD works by co-operating with cannabinoid receptors in the endocannabinoid system. The endocannabinoid system is a biological system, which helps to maintain effective functioning of the important systems in our body. With the regular and correct use of CBD, it will start to increase cannabinoid receptors. As a result of more cannabinoid receptors, the endocannabinoid system will become more active. A consistent recommended daily dose will help maintain the levels of CBD in your body, ensuring you benefit from the positive effects.

How to take CBD?

Taking CBD will vary for each CBD product. To ensure you are using the CBD correctly, follow the directions on your cbeedee.co.uk bottle.

What dosage to take?

The amount of CBD you should take depends on a range of factors, including:

  • Bodyweight
  • Individual body chemistry
  • The concentration of CBD
  • Whether it is broad-spectrum or full-spectrum CBD

Before adding CBD oil to your regimen, as with any supplement, be sure to check with your doctor to make sure that it’s a good choice for you. This is especially true if you are taking certain anti-seizure medications. CBD oil can be consumed in a myriad of ways: tinctures, oil vaping, capsules, sublingual's, or even topicals. Determining how much CBD to take and how to take it can seem overwhelming. Starting with "cbeedee" CBD oil or CBD gummies at a small dose is the easiest and quickest way to begin experiencing the benefits of CBD. However, it is important to check your CBD product for the type of extract it utilises and proper dosage instructions. For the average first time user, we suggest starting slow, taking a smaller dosage to see how it affects you. You can always increase this as time goes on. However, you should never take more than the maximum daily dosage of 70mg. For more detailed dosage instructions, read the dosage guide on our peel and reveal labels. Keep track of how much CBD you’re taking and how you’re feeling afterward. When taking CBD, always follow the instructions on the package of the product you have purchased and never exceed the maximum daily dosage of 70mg.

Entourage effect - what is it?

The entourage effect is when all the different cannabinoids in the hemp plant are ingested together (CBD, CBN, CDG), rather than in isolation. The theory is that by using the whole hemp plant rather than a singular aspect, there's a boost in the positive effects and overall properties of the cannabinoids.

What % is in my tincture?

1250mg CBD in a 30ml bottle = 41.66mg per ml (4.15% concentration )Other dosage information:

  • 2500mg CBD in a 30ml bottle = 83.32mg per ml (8.3% concentration)
  • 5000mg CBD in a 30ml bottle = 166.64mg per ml (16.6% concentration)

1 full dropper contains 1ml of liquid

Can I get high / stoned from CBD?

No. THC is the psychoactive cannabinoid that makes you high; CBD does not have any psychoactive properties. While many CBD oils, particularly full-spectrum products, contain trace amounts of THC, it is not enough to make you high.

Is CBD oil legal?

Yes! Most CBD oil is produced from industrial hemp, the same plant used to make hemp textiles and hemp seeds. This plant contains trace amounts of psychoactive THC

All our CBD products are 100% legal to buy in the UK and EU.
